Hope. Health. Education. Rebuilding Lives in Kashmir.

Together, we support orphans, low‑income families, patients in need, and rebuild communities in Jammu & Kashmir.

Our Mission

We are a non-political voluntary organisation helping sponsor the care of Orphans and assisting in making improvements to healthcare and education in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Our Story

BKCF was founded in 2014 by a group of like-minded British Kashmiris from J&K. Our first project focused on sending immediate aid to victims of the 2014 floods and assisting in the reconstruction and repair of homes.

What We Do

Orphans Fund

Through our Orphan Fund, we provide vital support for orphaned children, including food, clothing, education, and emotional care. By sponsoring an orphan, you help give them a future filled with hope and opportunities.

Education Support for Underprivileged Youth

Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Through scholarships and educational grants, we provide opportunities for young people to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.

Medical & Cancer Treatment Fund

Many individuals in Kashmir struggle to afford life-saving treatments like chemotherapy, dialysis, or surgery. We offer financial assistance to patients in need, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Disability & Rehabilitation Support

We assist people with disabilities by funding rehabilitation and care programs. Our support helps individuals with physical or developmental challenges lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Our Impact

Thanks to your generous support, we’ve been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless individuals and families in Kashmir. Here are just a few examples of our work:

2014 — Responded to devastating floods: Delivered essential aid to 40 families, providing food, blankets, and clothing.

2016–2017 — Supported widows and low-income mothers with financial assistance and funded education for underprivileged youth.

2017–2018 — Helped cancer patients access life-saving treatments, including chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants.

2018 — Donated £5,000 to a rehabilitation center in Srinagar for children and adults with disabilities.
